The Ingenious Ways India Keeps Cool in a Heat Wave

Even for a country that is used to dealing with high temperatures, it’s been a week of severe heat across much of India.
With heat induced deaths totaling more than 1100 in southern stare this past week authorities have set up water camps, advised people to stay indoors during the hottest part of the day and put hospitals on alert to treat those with sunstroke and heat exhaustion.
Here’s a look at some of the other ways people have found to cool off.
